Jonathan Cilia Faro was born in Sicily, Italy. He began studying music at the age of 9 and began his career as a solo artist at the age of 16. His first album, Always Close to Me sold over 100,000 copies. In 2001 Cilia Faro recorded his second album, Rebirth, which is a reflection on the traumatic experiences of his life. That same year he began a worldwide Gospel tour, which led him to his third album Symphony for Heaven. These achievements led to Jonathan’s involvement with various philanthropic causes which support education worldwide and allow Jonathan to spread the Gospel in a unique way.

More recently, Jonathan released a song with Grammy winning artist, Michael W. Smith, titled “Sing Again (Canto Ancora).” He has performed with Downhere founder, Marc Martel and is looking to reach audiences through his unique blend of contemporary and traditional music. Jonathan has a firm Christian faith and wants to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
